Miratorg, Vkusno i Tochka to build 12 bln rbl French fries plant
ST. PETERSBURG, Jun 15 (PRIME) -- Russian agricultural holding and meat producer Miratorg and fast food restaurant chain Vkusno i Tochka, McDonald’s successor, plan to build an 11.8 billion ruble plant in the Oryol Region for production of French fries and potato hash browns, the companies said in a statement on Thursday.
The agreement was signed during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
The companies plan to launch the plant in April–June 2025 that should produce up to 100,000 tonnes of products per year. The plant will consume about 250,000 tonnes of Miratorg’s potatoes per year and supply products to the Vkusno i Tochka restaurants and other companies of the hospitality, restaurant, and catering industry.
